![]() ![]() Realizing that I searched for other possible solutions. Checksum error update#That means whenever an update gets pushed live I would have to download the whole game again and again. Checksum error install#Guess what? Checksum error 108003.Īpparently I can install the game by downloading all the files through my browser by entering the correct CDN URL, but this does not fix the problem with the checksums. today I fired up the launcher to find another update waiting to get downloaded. This was yesterday and I was able to play a couple of rounds before going to bed. On 100% completion of the installation process it gave me another error which said: I uninstalled the game and the BsgLauncher with it, downloaded the fresh BsgLauncher file and started installing the game. I tested the download through VPN first and the problem was still there. Having completed that I still got the checksum error whenever I clicked on update.Ī quick google search suggested to either reinstall the game or try downloading the update while having a VPN active. My first attempt to fix this issue was using the launcher to check for file integrity and after that initiate a file repair. ![]() ![]() I was able to update and play Tarkov after the wipe just fine but a smaller patch on the following days spat out a "checksum error" alongside the code 108003. Download with VPN, full reinstallation, fiddling around with C++ runtimes, downloading from CDN and copying files over = no permanent fix Any ideas? TL DR: Getting a "Checksum Error 108003" and nothing seems to fix it. What exactly caused it is still unknown to me. EDIT: I got it fixed by updating to Windows 11. ![]()
